The basic concept is this: Combine the investigative horror gameplay prominently featured in games like Call of Cthulhu with elements derived from board and card games, as well as other roleplaying games, to make it easier to explore the genre with my kids and other family members.<\/p>\n

Progress<\/h3>\n

So how is the project coming along? Well, it’s far from complete, but it is playable!<\/p>\n

I played the Peru Prologue from Masks of Nyarlathotep (Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition) with my family using this system. I learned a lot from this first actual play, but overall it went great! It definitely succeeded in making this type of game more accessible, and we all had a great time.<\/p>\n
