Welcome to the base113 Games website.

I created base113 Games and this site several years ago to house my cross-genre tabletop roleplaying game – Proteus: Second Edition. The site has gone through numerous iterations over the past few years, as has the game. While still a work in progress, the game is playable. As soon as I can wrap up work on one or two of the chapters, I plan to release a fully playable alpha version in PDF.

Use the menu above to take a look around and learn about Proteus.

Broad details on the game system and development can be found under Proteus, along with information on Project Alpha, the quickest way to gain access to the actual rules.

Learn about the game’s setting by exploring information on the planet of Ortellum and discovering how the last survivors of humanity came to live on this distant world.

Links to base113 and Proteus around the web, as well as copyright information and polls intended to gather information from the gaming community, can be found under the base113 Games section of the menu.

Of course, this site also houses forums to facilitate discussions about Proteus and roleplaying in general.
